I was so nervous coming to my first event, but my fears dissipated soon after arriving. Thanks for creating such a lovely, respectful space for naked men. The stories were amazing! I had a great evening and learned so much from other people. Such an interesting group! I get asked by my curious friends - why do you have to be naked? For me, it definitely makes for more authentic conversations. I was inspired how creative some people were in interpreting the storytelling themes each month. I thought 'I don't have a story about that', but you quickly discover that we all have a story! | Social NudityUpholding the principles of organizations such as Brewer Street Yoga , social nudity events at BONOBO! are opportunities to socialize with respectful men over food and drink in a non-sexual environment. All adult males are welcome regardless of age, body shape, penis size, sexual orientation, marital status etc. These are events that celebrate us as human males, focusing on the quality of human connection through conversation in a non-judgmental, safe, naturist space for men. Penis arousal (erections) are a normal and expected part of male physiology, and guests are reminded that this is completely OK to happen. That said, social nudity parties here at BONOBO! are not group sex/orgy events or opportunities to perform sexual acts, but are great ways to make new emotional and intellectual connections with likeminded and respectful men. Doors open at 6pm. Food is served from 7pm. Storytelling circle starts at 8pm. The fun bit is talking about the stories after the circle has closed. Doors close at 10pm. Gatherings are often centred around a theme related to a specific event or festival in the international calendar, mostly around United Nations observance days/weeks. These are topics of international importance, so I invite guests to think of stories of how that theme relates to them or their network. Don't be fazed...thinking of a story is not as hard as you think! When I say 'storytelling' I do not mean creative writing/fictional stories. The stories should be true stories about you (preferably) or someone you know/close to you. The stories are short! A little vignette that tells others something about you. No scripts, notes, or slide deck presentations are required. A story that you can relate in your own words. Something around 2 minutes. I would like to be clear that sharing stories in this naturist group of men is not just for people who are confident public speakers. I absolutely encourage everyone to participate, including those who consider themselves shy or introverted. The groups are intimate, friendly, and supportive. All emotions are welcome. Some stories are funny, some are sad, some thought-provoking. This is not a contest to be the most 'entertaining'. It is an opportunity to create connection. The ticket price is all inclusive and covers entry, food, and drink based on information registrants supply at the time of booking, including allergies. This is to reduce food waste. Bookings can be made online in advance, and guests do not to need bring anything to an event except their good selves. So whether you are looking to move out of your comfort zone from being naked in front of strangers, or sharing a personal story in front of others, give these events a try! |
